Notion WhatsApper — Chrome Browser Extension

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Notion WhatsApp Messenger browser extension (“Extension,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information in connection with your use of the Extension. By installing or using the Extension, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The Extension does not collect, process, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (“PII”) to any external server, third-party service, or remote infrastructure of any kind. No data leaves your local device or your Google Chrome profile.

Specifically, the Extension does not:

• Collect, harvest, or store personal data such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers;
• Transmit any data to servers owned or operated by us or any third party;
• Employ cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or any other tracking technologies;
• Integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-brokerage services;
• Access your browsing history, bookmarks, or any browser data unrelated to its stated functionality;
• Read, index, or process the contents of your Notion workspace beyond the detection of telephone number hyperlinks visible on the active page.

3. Information Stored Locally

The Extension stores a limited set of non-personal data exclusively within your browser’s local environment using the Chrome Storage API. This data never leaves your device or Chrome profile.

3.1 Message Templates

User-created message templates are stored via chrome.storage.sync, a Chrome-native mechanism that synchronizes data across browser instances signed into the same Google account. This synchronization is handled entirely by Google Chrome infrastructure and is subject to Google’s own privacy policies. The Extension developer has no access to this data.
